thx for the opportunity to give feedback. We are a couple that travels extensivly and our experience with the IFA hotel was the worst experience ever. After booking 2 nights through your site, the hotel did not have our reservation when we arrived. They wanted to sell us a room for EUR120/night while the booking we hav was app 162EUR for 2 night. 'Obviously' it was our problem that the booking through your page was in a central IFA booking office - that was closed. There we are in Gran Canari in the evening without any alternatives. After some discusstions, we agreed to pay 105 EUR for the 1st night and then, when they located our booking - pay the difference. I said that it is common to pay at check-out but the receptionist did not accept that. Later that evening we found our booking at your page (thx to the reference number and pin) and gave the hotel the details and a print-out. We got a room at the entrance floor facing the back yard. Not even close to what the pictures in your page shows. The following day we stayed out and on our return about 5pm, the key/room was blocked. I want to the reception and they argued that we should have talked to them in the morning regarding our booking. I told them that we gave them a copy of the booking the night before, but still they argued we should have talked to them. I then understood that the problem was that we have paid 105 out of the 162 EUR. In short they wanted pre-payment. I asked if we could settle this at check-out the morning after, but that was not possible. I repeated my request to the manager of the front desk over phone. He got really angry and in addition to showing no respect, using rude language he threathened to call the police if we did not settle the difference now ! So, I agreed and aske him to call the police. His officer on duity talkted him into reason and opened our room for the night.

Good location, close to the beach.
The public areas were a bit cramped and it was difficult to get a table in the restaurant.

The staff were legends, always friendly and heaps helpful. But the food was a bit average, and the drinks were lacking in variety. Still, I loved the heated pool!

We stayed here for one night only and it was a very pleasant stay and was spotlessly clean. The location is very good. The outside of the the hotel is very attractive with lots of glass, paved pathways and beautiful plants. It has a very good pool area with plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun and also provides a shaded area too, and has a good poolside cafe/bar. The food was very good and plentiful. Our room with balcony overlooked the pool area and beach beyond - very nice.
The rooms are quite basic and the beds unfortunately quite uncomfortable. There were no tea or coffee making facilities within the room.

We appreciated perfect and exceptionally nice location!!
Location: the hotel was very close to several restaurants at the area, the dunes of maspalomas by foot which is quite a distance and the shopping area. And it's at a moderate distance from Restaurante Canton, ate there once or twice.

Can just recommend for a lightning stop
Comfortable room, pleasant breakfast, with easy beach access from the hotel and the convenience of nearby activities like yoga classes available by the shore.

The room was clean, comfortable and provided what we needed.
The dining room was catering to large groups and did not provide a relaxing or enjoyable environment. Quality of food at breakfast was barely average. We eat breakfast outside to avoid the main dining room and ate other meals out of the hotel.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location right on the beach with direct access, and the views from the rooms are fine, especially from the sea view options. The buffet breakfast offers a good variety perfect for any morning craving, ensuring I started each day energized.
Some of the staff at the front desk were not very friendly and rather abrupt.

Two well-maintained pools cater to different preferences, one heated, perfect for cooler dips, and another refreshing for a hot day. The beach access is seamless, with black sand leading right up to the hotel.
The charge for a safe at €2 per day feels unnecessary, especially since a safe is already included in the room. Room storage is limited, with a small wardrobe and only a couple of drawers. Food options lack variety, particularly for vegetarians and vegans, and many dishes served were luke-warm at best, leaving something to be desired.

The entertainment staff really added fun with activities like yoga on the beach . The room was a bit cramped with limited storage, making it hard for longer stays. Clean facilities and easy beach access enhance the experience.

enticing coastal access with vibrant nearby attractions
the hotel offers a simple and stress-free stroll to Playa del Pirata, just about 1 km away, and I loved how close it is to a variety of restaurants like La Sirena and TBN Restaurant, both less than a 5-minute walk away for delicious meals after a day of exploring the beautiful island.
